Acknowledgment to Country

I wish to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I write, create and work, the Whadjuk people. I would like to pay respect to the Elders of the Noongar nation, past, present and future, who have walked and cared for the land. I acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contributions made to life and the land in which I now live. I would also like to acknowledge the six Indigenous seasons Birak, Bunuru, Djeran, Makuru, Djilba and Kambarang.

I wish to acknowledge non-binary and transgender people and convey that my use of the word ‘she’ is not intended to offend anyone. My usage of ‘she’ refers to feminine energy in which all humans have. If you're a woman or identify as a woman, or as a LGBTIQ+, people of all abilities and from all cultural backgrounds are welcome in the Lead and Inspire Community.
